Feature
1.Double-Retention Anti-Drop System: This strut spring compressor kit features dual-protection safety with interlocking hook jaws and a secure locking mechanism. Its adjustable safeguard brace prevents accidental spring release under load and ensures parallel operation of removable tool components at all times
2.Premium Material: Our coil spring compressor tool is constructed from 45# carbon steel. The rugged frame minimizes flexing, bending, and warping even under high tension, each pair of the spring compressor tool can withstand a load of up to 2645 lbs (1200 kg)
3.Wide Application: An ideal solution for various vehicles, including trucks and large sedans. Avoid strut compressors with flimsy hooks that cause slippage or safety hazards. Compatible with springs 0–0.8 inches (0–20mm) in diameter. Verify spring size before use
4.Product Information: This heavy-duty spring compressor tool has a wide jaw capacity of 2.7-10.6 inches (70-270 mm) and an adjustable holder suitable for 8.6-12.2 inches (220-310 mm) diameters coil
5.Easy to Use: The screw compressor securely grips springs by rotating the easy-to-use hex nut. Use a 19mm hex socket or wrench. Always apply grease to threads before use. (Ensure even pressure on both sides — uneven force may cause tool detachment.)
Note
1.Avoid using power tools or air tools to load and tighten the coil spring compressor. It is best to take your time with a hand wrench or ratchet. This will allow you to more carefully and evenly distribute the force on each side while watching for slippage or other potential problems before they become a real problem!!!
2.This tool is a hand tool, please do not use pneumatic wrench.
3.Apply grease to the screw teeth before use to extend the service life.
4.Warning! Do not compress the spring to the point where the jaws make contact.
5.Warning! Determine the outside diameter of the spring and the compression load and check the compressor for suitability.
6.DANGER! Stop compressing the spring before it becomes coil-bound.
7.Make sure the jaws are properly engaged on the spring before starting compression.
8.During spring compression, ensure that the compressor jaws and the valve body are always properly aligned.
9.Keep the compressor spindle lubricated.
10.The coils will need to be compressed equally on each side - alternating between each arm to unbalance the spring.
